China Fire Retardant Society and North Technological Fire Retardant Laboratory co-sponsored the 2013 National Fire Retardant Academic Annual Conference

From 12 to 15 May 2013, the "2013 National Flame Retardant Academic Annual Conference" sponsored by the China Flame Retardant Society, the National Research Center of Flame Retardant Materials Engineering Technology of Beijing University of Technology, the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Fire Safety Materials and Technology Education and the National Professional Laboratory of Flame Retardant Materials Research was successfully held in Huangshan. At this annual meeting, 96 papers were submitted, 10 invited experts made special reports, and more than 300 delegates attended, which is the largest in the past years.
This annual meeting mainly focuses on the research status, development trend and relevant laws and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, how to improve the flame retardant efficiency of halogen-free flame retardant system and new self-crosslinking halogen-free flame retardant system without droplets, synthesis and application of hypophosphite metal salt flame retardant, application and Prospect of flame-retardant polymer materials in bicycle fittings, high performance-price ratio flame retardant system. Fiber fabrics were discussed. At the same time, the information release of new flame retardant products, new flame retardant testing instruments and equipment has become a hot topic of this seminar. The annual meeting also attracted scientific research institutes, colleges and universities, including China University of Science and Technology, Sichuan University, Beijing University of Industry and Commerce, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Northeast Forestry University, Nanjing Normal University, Hebei University, China Academy of Forestry, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Beijing General Academy of Building Materials Science, Tianjin Institute of Fire Protection of the Ministry of Public Security, Military Equipment Research Institute of the General Logistics Department, and other research institutes, universities and domestic and foreign countries The participation and attention of more than 300 representatives of enterprises.
The opening ceremony of this annual meeting was chaired by Professor Zhou Zhengmao (upper right), Secretary-General of China Flame Retardant Society, and Professor Yang Rongjie (lower), Director of National Professional Laboratory for Flame Retardant Materials Research. During the two-day seminar, twenty-five professors, experts and scholars from academia and business circles discussed the research progress of flame-retardant foam plastics for building insulation materials, part of halogen-free flame retardant technology of polymers, water-resistant and high-efficiency triazine-based intumescent flame-retardant polypropylene system, flame-retardant and drop-proof additives, and a high-temperature self-crosslinking copolyester without traditional flame-retardant elements. The present situation and trend of flammability and anti dripiness, safety and fire prevention building external thermal insulation system, the correlation between flammable rigid polyurethane foam combustion heat value and flame retardancy, the application and Prospect of flame retardant polymer materials in automobile parts, some thoughts on improving the efficiency of flame retardant system, the development of relevant regulations and standards of flame retardants, and the discussion of sustainable development, and the multiple synergistic modification of ammonium polyphosphate. The effects of polypropylene flame retardant properties, the modification of rigid polyurethane foam with aluminum hypophosphite flame retardant, the experimental study of fire retardant properties of building exterior wall insulation materials, and the challenges faced by clay as flame retardant filler were all well reported, which produced strong repercussions among the delegates at the meeting. During the whole conference, the academic atmosphere was strong, the delegates asked questions enthusiastically, the scene was active, and the reports were widely exchanged. Experts, scholars and representatives of enterprises and institutions attending the meeting expressed that the annual meeting was well-timed, rich in content, in-depth discussions and thoughtful in service.
