Previously, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhejiang, Shandong and other places have promulgated industry or local standards, providing technical support and policy basis for the governance of "poisonous runway". However, due to the hasty compilation time of many local standards, there are great differences among provincial standards and no consensus has been formed. The "Standard" to be implemented in Hubei Province extensively absorbs the participation of education and sports authorities, quality inspection agencies, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, environmental protection experts, production enterprises and paving enterprises in the preparation of standards, making the standards widely representative and operational. Some experts who participate in the formulation of standards are also experts in the drafting and compilation of National standards. At the same time, the Standard combines the current standards of developed countries such as Europe and the United States to prevent and control the possible toxic substances in plastic runways in the future.
It is understood that the strictness and high standards of the Standard are not only reflected in the detection and restriction of toxic substances in the plastic runway, but also in the restriction and limitation of the overall volatile substances (VOC and TVOC) in the plastic runway, increasing the combination of on-site detection and sampling, avoiding missed detection and false detection. The Standard not only stipulates the limit of 27 harmful substances that may be produced in the current runway construction, but also limits the volatile content of the built runway according to the standard of household decoration. The volatile matter produced by the runway should not be higher than 0.6g/liter. The requirements of this standard for future products indicate specific directions: solvent-free products, odorless stimulation products, green environmental protection products and so on.
